For sale: a pair of vintage Levi's 501 denim jeans.
These are American-made 501s, manufactured around 1978-1980. The top button's back stamp "54" indicates they were made at the Knoxville, Tennessee factory. This pair features the side seam construction that came after the red tab era, but still retains the chain stitch on the back pocket, a detail unique to the transition period.
The paper patch has some damage, but the model number "501-0113" and size are still visible. The fading is natural, typical of the late 70s, and gives the jeans a great vintage look.
These are a golden size W32, which are highly sought after.
