A Gewinde-Grenzlehrdorn is a blend of a Gutlehrdorn and Ausschusslehrdorn. The Ausschuss side of the Gewindelehrdorn is marked with a red ring. The Gut side should screw into a cut thread of a workpiece by hand without extra force. If not, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards (Ausschuss). The Ausschuss side can screw in up to two turns by hand. More than that, the thread doesn't meet the desired standards. A reference temperature of 20°C applies to the workpieces and gauges. VÖLKEL offers a factory calibration certificate upon request. Independent lab calibration follows set standards (DIN, ISO, ANSI) on IAC-Gewindescanner.
