Vintage 60s German Submarine Leather Jacket - Authentic, Short Length, Rare

A 1960s, early model German military submarine jacket. Single rider style. This jacket has considerable individual variation. I purchased several and finally landed on this one.

The main zipper is a long OPTI zipper, and OPTI zippers are also used on both sleeves. Details unique to the early models include underarm ventilation. The hem cords are also present. The stitching and hardware on the sleeve zippers often differ between the left and right sleeves, but on this jacket, both sides have the same details.

This jacket has been sampled by numerous brands. Recently, it was sampled in the LEMAIRE 2025 ss collection (see image 11).

There are some scratches and stains due to its age, but it has a great vintage feel.
